Are you well prepared in case of an earthquake? Here are 7 tips to help you prepare for such an event.
1) Keep at least a 72 hour water supply in your emergency kit.
2) Keep crank or battery-powered flashlights and a radio handy.
3) Fix securely to the wall your furniture and appliances.
4) Secure lights fixtures and suspended ceilings.
5) Keep your car's gas tank at least a quarter full.
6) Participate in the GREAT SHAKEOUT and practice the 3 things to do in case of an earthquake: DROP, COVER, HOLD ON.
7) Talk to your insurance representative to learn more about what is covered by your insurance policy..
